hi i'm aL and i like stuff

Anyways, here's a simple question, how'd you get your username(s)? To start off this thread, I'll start off with mine! (Also, yes, I love commas.)

Anyways, it all began with a simple download of TF2 and then I hoped it, I started off with that boring real life name user, as in Jose.Gonzalez.2020, and then I switched to 'Sniper' (Please, don't make fun of me.. :c) and at this time I was like very young, and my first server in TF2 was actually PBFortress on Jailbreak, and although I had no clue what I did and or what I was doing, I had fun! Then I swapped out to 'Mickey' and I was playing a crap ton of TF2 at this time, basically whenever I'd get back from school I'd legit play until midnight, and then after years, I swapped out to 'Dorky' and then continued to play PBFortress, but then after some years the downfall of PBFortress came, cause now it's like dead and then after the death, I started playing a crap ton of pubs, and after months, I saw this one guy that just had this simple name 'Alex', and by the way that is my middle-name, so I was like "Ya know... Why not try it?" But I wanted a twist with it as well, cause I ain't no basic boi, so I added an extra 'w' to it. Now, we're at the name 'Alwex' and I was extremely comfortable with that name and for most of my time I had that name for most of my time playing TF2, and then I found Wonderland, and then I felt like a name switch would be a bit more suitable... I guess.

So now I'm at the name Al, and people already know why I switched it but I'll say it again, so when I joined the server, I would always like type in chat, people got to see that the 'l' looked like a 'i', so basically I was called ai which was uh... Great I suppose, and then after ALL those name switches I'm at my current username... aL! (And boio I feel hella g u c c i) And now I still kind of change my username from time to time, such as 'Pokeman aL', 'Master Chef aL', and so on, mainly for the reason that I still play jailbreak and I get myself into the minigame.

So uh, that was the history of all my usernames...

So since I have a lot of usernames from when I was a young lad, I just stuck with the name "CloakandDagger" (mostly because it sounds cool). So about 6 months ago, me and a few of my freshman friends from high school (Im a sophomore) and I were playing some brawlhalla. Now the thing is, I could play most of the people but only played two of them against my friends. Koji and Yumiko were the two. After a few games, my friends started calling me "Mr. Weeb, pro brawlhalla player." So to them, I responded with "How dare you insult me like that? You may call me Captain Weeb." So they did. I then changed my steam name to it and since then, have just stuck with it.

I've always been fond of shadows & darkness (No, I'm not edgy I swear.) I were either too lazy to come up with a better name or I just thought that ''Shadow'' is good enough of a name. Why not just have it simple eh?

Though a few years ago I went by the username of ''Turquoise Shine'' which yes is my mlp OC's name.

So, I've been playing a game called Need for Speed Black Edition
Every time I escaped from the cops, I get the "Reckless Driver" infraction title. And I liked the word.

In every single things where a username was required, I used 'Reckless "*myname*" or any word accompanied after, even in school projects/assignments where nicks were required. But I cannot put my real name everywhere, so I used 'flute guy'.

Plus, I play the flute. I was well known in college for playing flutes, until I had to stop (not completely) because I had a breathing difficulty problem. I could not maintain a good breath and produce good vibrato.
The first place I used the name "Reckless Flute Guy" was in a national level assignment for a club in my school (for being friendly to other stranger students or some sh*t like that) where it was the last time I played the flute in front of a decent audience.
Later, I started using Wreckless (Wreck+less) to keep it short and simple.

And the =WL= or wln.tf tags are just from this Community server.

Well, I used to have a cringey name, that being "KN1GHT" and previously "Smokepelt" (least I find them kind of cringey now oh well anyway), and I had wanted to change it to something else as a sort of "fresh start." So, I observed this weird drawing I loved (link), and decided to name myself after it, aka. "8." How I spelled out the 8 in my name has changed many times as well, from "█ 8 █" to "< 8 >" to "8. wln.tf" etc. etc. eventually to just "Eight" spelled out, because I was never fully satisfied with any of the username styles where it was just the number (except "█ 8 █" sorta).

No history behind this name really, just something I randomly thought of when I needed a new name.
jGag (an older name)
This is the name that most of my friends know me by, and it took a lot of inspiration from jbird, a god-like sniper main that I sometimes still watch nowadays.

People have such reasons behind their usernames. One of these days I'll have to ask someone to teach me how to keep a name.
I think Rain was the name I kept the longest since most of my longer-time friends know me by it, and I just got that name because it played a big role in a song I liked. And because rainy weather is the best weather. If you think otherwise, I'm down to fight.

I cant sleep
I tried to play a retarded pvz game when i was 11 which required a username and everything was taken so i came up with a list of random names and picked one. I never liked making a name with a word that already exists even though most people have that. So instead i just generated random things in my head until i found someting that had potential and wrote it down. I planned to only use my current name once but it really grew on me and i needed a good username when i made a steam acc anyway. I still use some of the others i came up with for alt accounts and such.

I shortened my name to koko once but i quickly changed it back since "koko" alone is just awful.

So my steam account wasn't always mine. It was my brothers at one point. I was poor didn't have my own computer or a steam account and I loved playing Garry's mod, problem was my brother was the only one who had it, so we took turns. Eventually he made a new steam account and gave me his old one which at the time only had Garry's mod and Team fortress two (premium account :) His user name was Rampage and well as you can probably guess I stuck with it. same thing goes with the profile pic. it's all been the same for about 8 years. I'm bad with making names so I kept it. And that's my story.
