I logged on to Tf2 and joined a wonderland.tf server to find out I have been banned.
I feel I should be unbanned because i never had an alternate account and I feel this could be a mistake on an admins or moderators part.

Your account was banned as it was linked to this account. It is a throw away that was banned for hacking on our server and was VAC banned shortly after. This account also used a spam/bind that you use on your main account, making the chances that is isn't your account slim to none.
