Accepted Banned for duplicate account?

So I logged onto on of the wonderland.tf servers, and I was having a good time having snipers duels, and just messing around. Then I forgot that I had a lewd spray equipped so I sprayed it. The admin then told me that I would be banned for 1 hour. It's been about 2 or 3 hours and I went to check how long I was actually banned for and it said permanent, then I checked the reason and it said "banned for duplicate account" I don't know what other account I had, but if it's related to IP addresses, i am almost always using a vpn service so that might be the reason.
I think you guys should possibly unban me because I have no clue what I did or what "duplicate account" refers to. I did not mean to break any rules if I did, and I am sorry for spraying the lewd spray, thank you for reading this. - jacob

Does that mean that it was supposed to stop me from joining the game? Because if so it just let me go right into the game without any problem.

probably dont use vpns on wonderland servers. you could discuss with xypher to get a whitelist tho.
