Declined Bring back weapons in deathrun

there was a way to get weapons in deathrun by using !paint but it got removed recently. But i don't know how weapons can give the runners an advantage, except for the medigun.
But instead of fully removing the command, wouldn't it have been better if only the medigun was removed or secondary weapons?

Thread died without any support (any votes, rather) and, when I brought this up among staff, there was unanimous opposition. Furthermore, as you said, we previous had weapons enabled, but they were disabled due to the various issues they posed and many complaints.
