Accepted Duplicate account permaban appeal

1) My profile is linked to my forum account

2) The bans site says, "[SourceSleuth] Duplicate Account", though I have no idea about what account it has associated me with since I have not played on a server for this community for a long time now.

3) I'm really just here to ask about the account it's linked me to. I used to play on a Minecraft server a few years back, if I recall correctly, and haven't touched it since. I tried joining my friend today to test something with him and saw I was and have been permabanned for a good while now. I do not believe that this ban was deserved.

Uh, forgive me if my response is not what you expected, but that account is not only private but has no aliases I can identify. If it helps at all, this is the only account I actively use for steam and have no alts.

I have used a vpn before because of an attempted doxxing incident against me but I haven't used it in a good while now.

Hi, sorry for the wait. After looking at it for some time I couldnt find any connections to that account and since you used a VPN is likely that you accidentally connected to an ip of a banned user. With all this, I will unban you.
