I recently got the pomson 6000 and I enjoyed playing with it. I think its a cool weapon for spam and serious gameplay. I don't know how
annoying it is to other players (probably a lot). I just want to know if I'm lowering my skills with it and if its a bad weapon like the Righteous bison.

I always felt like the rescue ranger was the best weapon for enginner and I hate playing with the pomson 6000.
I think it depends on how you plan to play actually.

I don't think using a weapon lowers your skills with it. You can't really classify skill into one category because of how diverse each class is and the different things you can do with each. I think that just using a weapon increases your skill with that weapon, and using projectile weapons is more difficult than hitscan ones. Usually.

It's all about what feels comfortable if you like the pomson then play with it I personally don't like it's fireing speed. I usually use a stock shotgun and decorate it with specialized killstreak add a festivizer and a unusual effect.

The Pomson 6000 is basically the Righteous Bison, but slightly better? Idk, I never found it to be that good. It's like using the Cow Mangler but -20 times as good...

I personally use the Rescue Ranger and the stock shotgun.
But if you think you are doing way much better with the weapons you chose, then continue using it.
The Pomson is super effective against medics and spies but it fires super slow projectiles.
