Do you mean the signatures? or just the messages you write?

The image should end with 'jpg', 'png' or '.gif'. E.g. https://c.tenor.com/6tW7ImrwSYEAAAAj/cat-tuxedo.gif
To get the .gif/.jpg link, open image in a new tab. If you want to use your own gifs or images, I suggest you use Tumblr.
