Accepted i got banned for "asisting an aimbotter"

Alright so I have reported a hacker earlier this day and he got banned, but I got permbanned alongside him for "assisting an aimbotter", which I believe is a stupid reason, as I had not assisted the cheater and only messed around at the end.

Could I have my ban removed or at least shortened?In my honest opinion the reason behind it is simply groundless.
