Today is the day to show support to the trans community. Set in 2009 (and in 2010 worldwide) by Transgender Activist, Rachel Candall-Crocker, it aims in bringing attention to the accomplishments of trans people around the world. TDOV is a day of empowerment to transgender people and in getting the recognition they deserve.
In the past, I had trans friends who endured a lot. They faced discriminations and even got death threats on social media. Why should people be a moron? Why should people make them feel ashamed or isolated? Although nowadays being a transgender person is considered usual, people do still talk crap behind their backs.

If you have any trans friends and haven't talked to them in a while, please do.

Feel free to say something below.
