Imagine this, if you're in japan, what is your first thing to do?

For me, just travel in Tokyo and taste some Japanese foods

I'll just carry a plastic bag and get some stuff that I never have seen before. I will also have my phone with a translator app to speak to them that way and hear out what they will be saying.

I'm looking to visit Japan someday in the future, mainly to visit shrines and other calm and beautiful places outside of large cities. People often straight go to huge cities like Akihabara and look for anime/manga stores etc. but to me, if you don't plan on buying something specific, it kind of feels like a waste of time in the end, on the Internet you can already freely find a lot of videos of people going to maid cafes, merch stores and other anime places. If there would be some kind of anime or gaming convention, I'd probably visit it too, they look fun. Maybe also going to by some food and go to some other places like Ghibli Museum.
