Yup just Rex! Technically you can have tankmates with a male betta fish but most of the time they'll be aggressive towards them so it's just better to have them alone. If we had a female betta fish it could work to have some tankmates but ya.
He was roughly 2 months old when we got him and we got him on February 3rd so he is currently 3 months old going onto 4 months old.
Fish are the least amount of work from all of the pets, depending on what fish you get and what size aquarium you get. For me I have one betta fish in a 10 gallon tank, and I only do a water change once a week and feed him twice a day. I also test the water twice a week and add Seachem Prime and Seachem Stability every day, but that's only because my aquarium is currently cycling. Once it's cycled, I will only add the chemicals once a week.
