Freekill is punishable by a slay, it'd be ridiculous if a good guard was banned for 20 minutes because some red got in his way when fighting a rebel.

Freekilling is dealt with by a slay or guardban, rarely do we hand out server bans for freekilling. If you mean if it should be dealt with by either a slay or a 20 min guard ban, well people can receive a 20 min guardbans for freekilling I guess, but typically that isn't the time given for a freekilling guardban if one needs to be handed out. Slaying the freekiller or even just warning them & respawning the freekilled user can fix the issue a lot of the time, as a lot of times it can be accidental or a reasonable misunderstanding of the rules/warden's orders.

Depends on if they keep on doing it or not. Especially after they’ve been warned. If they’ve been warned multiple times and had it explained to them I reckon they should get guard banned otherwise just a slay.

IF you are the warden and one of your guards kill a red that wasn't on purpose, tell them to either kill themselves or slay them.
IF you are the warden, and YOU kill a red unintentionally, say to your team you're gonna kill yourself / uw and then kill yourself, (unless you're an admin, then you can just respawn them and create chaos in the chat that way ;^)), so your guards have time to react.

If its a blue who does it intentionally call an admin. Simple and effective
