Anybody that uses Windows 10 gets forcibly updated quite often so to be honest, this is more like getting everybody updated to latest if anything.

Win10 is completely ok for me. Supports basically everything. (exept maybe if i want to play my childhood games that are usually 2000 - 2010.)

If you do downgrade, for the love of god DO NOT use Vista. It’s buggy and unsafe to use
I’d use XP if I had to use an old OS

Windows 7 is also not very safe. It's security is easily bypassed. Hell even I can do it in less then an hour
