This is my first ever community thread and community forum account, even though I have played TF2 for over 10 years.
The reason I was banned for a day was because of apparently for "Hate Speech" a few days ago after saying "thought you types of people knew math" when I was trolling against a toxic player who was trying to harass me by guessing my age due to the amount of hours I have played in the game, including insults with unusual conclusions that are not true. When the ban occurred on the same day probably after a couple of hours, I thought it was weird, because nothing I said was specifically hate speech and the one who made the report took it out of context. From the report that caused my ban, whatever I said in the screenshots of the report (of the chatbox), was true, but never was meant to be hate towards him (I should have used my words more carefully to be a little more specific). I did insult him based on his childish toxic behavior, and not because of ethnicity. The reason I am making this appeal is to remove the ban for "Hate Speech" off of my ban history because I am not that toxic of a person at all as someone who is a racist or just full on hating someone to the core that are roaming around in the Team Fortress 2 community, based on what I have seen and experienced before in the past unfortunately.
I did check the player's ban/gag history out of curiosity, he did get gagged for "toxicity in text chat" once for an hour a few days ago at around March 31st. But not sure if that was his only punishment in the past for that type of behavior.
