Declined Giveaways and alt accounts

Can we make it an official rule to ban alt accounts in giveaways as it gives a stupidly unfair advantage

The user hosting the giveaway can decide if he wants to allow alt accounts or not him/herself. Therefore, while I understand what you mean, I don't see much of a need to make it an official rule.

Alt accounts get banned for what ? , it's not breaking the community rules
