i copy pasted someone calling my friend a faggot, but censored the friends name as part of a joke, because someone told him to watch his language.

this was obviously a joke, yet warranted a ban 3x as long as the guy i was mocking.

I've gone ahead and looked at your logs from the past 7 days. You do enjoy your jokes, huh? Do you believe it would be fair if someone were to get away with repeated toxicity, and arguably racism, just because they were quoting someone else? You knew that the rules stated that homophobic slurs were strictly prohibited, and yet you found it within yourself to "mock" someone else, word for word. If your intentions were good, perhaps you could've simply told me while I was on the server about people being homophobic, yet as far as I know, that didn't even cross your mind. As for the length of your ban, you've had previous offenses of homophobia very recently.
