Does anyone have a suggestion for an affordable and good mic that I can purchase as my current one is wearing down.

Not sure, but check this vid for more info (Best tutorial):

I personally prefer the Floureon BM-800 and the Hessaneiser Lavalier (See in video) from a price-to-quality ratio

If you do not want expensive mics, better check a good headset with a mic with it...

And, ALWAYS check reviews online before buying something online or at your tech store and beware of rip-offs or fakes.

Buy a HyperX headset. Their mics are quality just like their headset.
I’m never gonna change from it.

yeah, But it works though, and it's actually not that bad in terms of sound quality. Pick up range could be a bit larger but I can't complain for 99 cents. ;)

sure it's 99 cents but you won't get it for another 6 months
Nah Fam I got it in 1.5 months actually. Works great!
