Sure, I'll fire a ton of my own:
- Vanilla Minecraft is incredibly boring as a game, has too little depth for being the best selling game of all time. That's not to downplay its creative and potential as a tool for mods and other creations of course.
- cp_steel is my favorite TF2 map by far, and I'd love to see more maps take its style of objective.
- Pass time > Mannpower
- Arena is one of my favorite gamemodes, especially on servers where the cap is restricted unless certain circumstances are met. The great influence that getting a single pick or dying can have on a round leads to super exciting gameplay where you're always on the edge of your seat. Clutch plays are incredibly common and incredible to both perform and watch, as all eyes are on you as you decide the fate of the round.
- The stock scattergun is my favorite weapon in the game. It's reliable as all hell, it benefits Scout's other strengths immensely, and its just plain fun to get up in someone's face and show 'em what you're made of.
- Mannrobics > Kazotsky Kick > Conga
- Heavy should have won the war. Pyro's fixes were necessary and should have happened ASAP, regardless of the update. The promises of new weapons, playstyles, etc. fit the bill for what Heavy needed far more than what Pyro needed.
- The crossbow is overpowered and needs a nerf, while also preferably buffing the syringe guns to make them worth using.
- The stock shotgun on Soldier serves little purpose to skilled soldiers, the gunboats and banners will always benefit you and your team more.
- The Candy Cane is, by far, the worst weapon in the entire game (Barring maybe the Rocket Jumper). No other weapon provides a passive debuff so incredibly crippling compared to it. 25% Explosive Vulnerability may not sound like that much but consider that puts you in one-shot range for pipe grenades, long-range stickies (close range stickies can already one-shot), rockets at close-mid range. Soldier and to a far greater extent Demoman are classes Scout counters, giving them such a significant edge in combat will cripple your potential as a Scout.
- The Your Eternal Reward changes in JI just made the weapon much worse overall.
- Engineer's sentry should be nerfed in exchange for rather large buffs to his other buildings. Frankly, there isn't much Engie's sentry is useful for in comparison to a Heavy unless you're stacking them. So personally I think the focus should be put more on making him into a support class that rivals the Medic. A class that can't Uber but is great at making sure the front lines of the battlefield are well supplied and healthy, with some extra fall-back damage as a bonus sounds perfect to me. Ideally for me, Medic would be better with his ability to use Ubercharges, making him better for a sustained offensive into an enemy chokepoint, objective, or territory. While the Engineer would be better at supporting specific positions on a battlefield, be it defending an objective or an area your team is holding while trying to push into enemy ground.
- Speaking of Medic, the Stock Medigun is the best Medigun on offense, while the Kritzkrieg is the best on defense. The Quick Fix and Vaccinator are too weak and should be only used when their niche situations come up. (Quick-fix as an alternative to the Kritzkrieg for defense, for when you don't have any class really worth giving crits to, and you just need to focus on keeping everyone alive above all else. The Vaccinator is the weakest of them all, only really being better when you need to counter one specific player, be it a very good Sniper, Soldier, etc.). Stock's invulnurability make it the perfect Medi-Gun for taking objectives, breaking through chokepoints and demolishing Sentry nests. Three situations that come up very often when playing on the offensive. On the contrary, the Kritzkrieg's ability to significantly boost damage output and therefore get plenty of kills helps offset the quicker respawn times attacking teams benefit from, always making sure your teams are evenly balanced.
That was probably too much :)
