TF2 Why did Valve abandon gamer support?

Before you say "BeCAUse Of HOOF Loof :Awex" the game has been out for a month and valve didn't give no attention still to tf2

Like most people, I am waiting for dem cash updates like a 2fort citizen and like all of you I'm tired of Valve's bullcrap

because the game doesn't make as much money as CSGO nor does it attract a large competitive scene.

From a business standpoint, Valve has an alleged 4-5 developers working on Team Fortress 2 as of 2019. Team Fortress 2 is a game that is close to thirteen years released, there's not very much more they can do, especially when Team Fortress 2 likely does not make as much revenue from them compared to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and DOTA 2.

It's just the way it is for now, Team Fortress 2 isn't sustainable enough to hire more developers.

Is a very low priority for valve deal with tf2 Erich smith spends hours in programming in tf2 thanks to the leaked source code Erich Smith is working on something that was scrapped or other not scrapped.
